Incoming Kindergarteners will have an extraordinary first summer camp experience in Camp Chaverim (ha-va-reem), Hebrew for friends! Everyday, campers will enjoy a morning ceremony filled with music and tradition, free swim in the campus pool, and curriculum-backed lessons and activities with our camp specialists. On Fridays, campers will experience unique programs themed around different movie genres, as well as Maccabiah, a color-based competition, once a session. Every camp group also participates in all-camp programs such as Wacky Wednesday and Kabbalat Shabbat.

Welcome to the JCC School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Get ready for a magical summer adventure where young witches and wizards can immerse themselves in the Harry Potter universe. Campers will be sorted into houses, attend “classes” each day, and participate in thrilling adventures and competitions. Join us for a memorable week of spells, potions, and fun! This camp will be repeated each session.

WEEK 4: JUNE 15-19 | Pokemon Academy

Welcome to Pokémon Academy, where young trainers learn how to catch, train, and battle the world’s fiercest most loyal Pokémon! Perfect for fans, our young trainers will begin the week with their starter Pokémon. They will learn how and what it means to be a trainer through games and leveling up through the academy. Campers will see their favorite game come to life with a week full of activities, challenges, and time to trade with friends! This camp will be repeated each session.

WEEK 5: JUNE 22-26 | Eco Explorers

Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! Join us for a week of exciting nature and outdoor science adventures! With fun experiences like taking a hike to Hardberger Park and cooking with solar ovens, to engaging experiments and activities in nature, your young explorer will make the outdoors their classroom!

WEEK 6: JUNE 29- JULY 3 | Art Around the World

Are you ready to travel the world without leaving camp? Campers will visit a new continent each day, diving into the culture and art styles of two to three countries. They will create their own masterpieces inspired by their discoveries; join us for an artistic journey around the globe!

WEEK 7: JULY 6-10 | Harry Potter Camp

Welcome to the JCC School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Get ready for a magical summer adventure where young witches and wizards can immerse themselves in the Harry Potter universe. This summer, campers will explore and harness the wonders of nature to unleash their inner artist. Each day, we will explore the outdoors and create natural art projects using inspiration and materials found from the earth around us. From crafting sculptures with collected sticks to harnessing the sun to melt colorful wax, your budding artist will grow a deeper appreciation and understanding of the natural world while creating beautiful art.

WEEK 10: JULY 27-31 | Percy Jackson Camp

Does your camper enjoy Greek mythology and all things legendary? Then Percy Jackson Camp is the place for you! Campers will learn about ancient Greek myths and legends while honing their demigod abilities through engaging activities, art projects, and physical challenges. Train with us and join the adventure!

Performing Arts Camp takes part in the longstanding J-Camp tradition of producing a hit show for family and friends! Campers will learn confidence, acting skills, vocal techniques, dancing, and movement by starring in a production of Disney’s Frozen Kids (Session 1), and Meredith Willson’s The Music Man (Session 2). Full attendance is encouraged for campers seeking a lead role. Campers will also participate in daily camp activities such as free swim, and all-camp programs such as Wacky Wednesday, Kabbalat Shabbat, Maccabiah, and Friday Fun, where campers will experience unique programs themed around different movie genres.

Varsity Sports Camp is for older campers who are ready to take their sports training and experience to the next level. Campers will work closely with our coaches to develop their skills in a different sport each week, honing their abilities in specific skillsets. In our beginner/intermediate Tennis Camp, campers will learn and enhance skills in a friendly, yet competitive tennis camp. Skills, drills, and instruction on the JCC outdoor courts are part of the fun each day. JCC Tennis staff will guide campers in taking their game to the next level and developing skills that make the difference in winning matches. In our Elite Tennis Camp, designed exclusively for tournament-level players, athletes will train in a focused, high-performance environment. Campers will refine advanced techniques and strategies through intensive drills and competitive play on the JCC outdoor courts. JCC Tennis staff will provide high-level instruction aimed at sharpening skills that directly impact match performance and tournament success. This camp is tennis-only and does not include participation in general camp activities. Training will take place primarily outdoors, and players are strongly encouraged to bring daily sunscreen, water bottles, and hats.

Navigator Camps are designed for teens and their busy schedules, allowing the flexibility to select which weeks to attend. Navigators go on two field trips a week and also spend time at the JCC, where they will participate in daily free swim at the campus pool, curriculum-backed lessons and activities with our camp specialists, youth lounge access, and special overnight opportunities. On Fridays, campers will experience unique programs themed around different movie genres, as well as Maccabiah, a color-based competition, once a session. Every camp group also participates in all-camp programs such as Wacky Wednesday and Kabbalat Shabbat.

CITs assist counselors with camp groups in order to learn what it takes to be a high-quality J-Camp team member. CITs build leadership skills and learn strategies for working with children. Preference for Junior Counselor positions in future summers are given to those who successfully complete the CIT program. The CIT leadership program is a two-week commitment; applicants may sign up for up to four two-week sessions. The program fee includes leadership training, a camp T-shirt, and a small stipend (per session) for perfect attendance and consistent high-quality performance. To become a CIT, complete an online application through the registration system. Interviews will be scheduled after registration is submitted. Space is limited and placement is not guaranteed.
