She is now the Director of Adult Services, and serves as the Games Director for the Texas Senior Games. Cathy has been part of the Senior Games in San Antonio, now the Texas Senior Games, for around twenty years.

In the mid 1970’s I came out to Los Angeles to become an actor. It only took me three years before I realized it was impossible. I couldn’t get a job. I couldn’t get an agent. I couldn’t even work for free.
In 2013, American comedy writer David Javerbaum visited the JCC as part of the Author & Speaker Series to share and discuss his book The Last Testament: A Memoir by God, which also spurred his creation of the Twitter account, @TheTweetOfGod.
