J-Camp Inclusion Programming
The JCC's Summer J-Camp Inclusion Program provides an opportunity for children with special needs to attend camp with typically developing peers and, when appropriate, with their sibling(s). Families participate in a confidential in-take process with the Special Needs Project Manager and/or J-Camp Director to assess each child’s readiness to participate in the Summer J-Camp Inclusion Program, and if so, to discuss plans to accommodate the child’s needs for a successful experience.
While it is our objective to provide every camper an opportunity to be included in our program, J-Camp may not be a good fit for every child. In such cases, we will do our best to provide information and alternate options to accommodate families in need.
