BBYO San Antonio Recognized in February

BBYODuring President’s Day weekend this past February, San Antonio sent five teens to Dallas for the BBYO International Convention. The Sababa BBG chapter for girls and Erich Weiss AZA chapter for boys, San Antonio’s two local chapters, were well represented, each receiving the Chapter of Excellence Award!

The weekend was extremely rewarding, getting to connect with other Jewish teens and learn about their Jewish communities at homes across the globe. The memories and friends made will last a lifetime. We hope to bring even more teens in the coming years so they too can experience the BBYO magic, and bring it back to our South Texas home!

More about BBYO

BBYO is a youth-led program for Jewish teens in high school that helps them to strengthen their Jewish identity, develop valuable social and leadership skills, build lifelong bonds with other local Jewish teens, as well as Jewish teens from around the country, and enhance their personal development as they venture on their Jewish Journey.

Membership fees are $149 for all four years of high school, plus additional fees for regional and local events. Interested teens can register online. More information and a calendar of events is available online, or contact Devin Billstein, BBYO City Director, at 210-302-6869.
